Located in historic Grassy Creek, the Old Store tells the story of the Grassy Creek community and features local goods, crafts, gifts, a Christmas tree education center, and a large deck to sit a spell and enjoy the countryside. The Ashe County Chamber of Commerce is a not-for-profit voluntary membership association that serves as the unified voice for nearly 500 member businesses, individuals, and non-profits in and around the High Country. The Chamber also operates the Ashe County Visitor Center in downtown West Jefferson, welcoming all who explore the coolest corner of North Carolina. Experience its four-season climate, charming towns, and unforgettable natural scenery for yourself!
