The public is encouraged to join the men and women of the 26th North Carolina Regiment on the grounds of the Museum of Ashe County History as they hold a reenactment of Civil War-era troop muster. The 26th North Carolina Regiment is a Civil War living history organization who works to tell the story of those who lived through war by showing how soldiers lived and fought.
