Fridays in the Park will feature Ashe County native Tray Wellington and his band. Growing up on Flint Hill Rd., Trajan “Tray” Wellington was destined to be attracted to the 5-string banjo. Tray’s love for music bloomed at an early age while he listened to his grandpa play diverse styles of music. Tray Wellington Band plays hard-driving bluegrass, gorgeous old time tunes and everything in between. This concert is free at Ashe Park.
