Beginners are in for an adventure with the many possibilities of this enjoyable medium. Pastels are exciting and immediate, incorporating both drawing and painting simultaneously. Explore techniques that include hatching, broken color, blending and feathering and incorporating lovely hues and different textures. Participants may bring photos or sketches of landscapes. Betty will share her knowledge gained from painting with pastels for 35 years.
