General Store & Mercantile

The Phipps Store has reopened after 55 years of sitting idle. The store sells mountain handmade crafts and art from NW North Carolina and Virginia. The Phipps Store has been in the family for four generations. The Phipps Store Friday Night Music Jam. Local mountain music is played every Friday from 7:00pm-10:00pm. The jam is open to all skill levels and ages. Admission is free with donations welcome for upkeep.

The General store features Deli-crafts-antiques-ice cream. Tuesday night story telling 6:00pm May-October. Bluegrass Friday nights-dinner at 6:00-music at 7:00. Saturdays Authors and Artisans 10 - 4
